forest park and mansion
...sitting here this evening... having decided to continue e of e though not to a plan... i return to the present...
...several trees stand before me in complete stillness... a neo-renaissance mansion beyond... the last of the sunlight illuminates the tree tops... a runner with excellent poise or running posture glances at me as he passes by... leaves already falling... the sky above is pale blue and almost cloudless...
...i guess that the education of everyone will be almost invisible... or is...as are the laws of nature (so called)... that scientific research is meant to reveal... or the knowledge or awareness of anything... it can be written but the meaning of what's written does not reside in the physical words but in the thoughts they provoke... according to shared and changing rules or decentral habits of a language...
...a public clock strikes the hour and the sound of traffic on a nearby motorway continues... uninfluened by the sound of a bell striking eight... as the truant is of school... (which arouses the thought of motorway as mass truancy... from an older world... from what many of us as parents or as teachers would like to perpetuate)...
...which reminds me that, despite all i may say against parents, schools, teachers and universities, they are perhaps the only elements among us on the side of what is good... yet voluntary...
...and now... as it begins to get dark... i decide to cease writing for the moment and return to the mystery of life as it is lived... (though life is not a thing... not an it)...
...and on the way out of the forest park i come across advertisements for business training... evidence that traditional education (detached from politics, business or money making) is being remade by training consultants who attempt to fit what's fine and good to new commercial aims...
