6 january 2017 many times and rhythms...
for this note to be effective it may have to be temporal... not
physical... not the tyrrany of enforced clock time but the many times
and rhythms of the world... all the times imaginable... including those of
this writing via language and touch keys linking the tempo of thoughts
to those of eyes to brains to fingers to screen... not to
mention the many uncountable times and rhythms of bodies moons
vegetations heartbeat breathing days seasons years speaking
walking thinking... much else...
...even this disorderly attempt at describing the complexity of 'everything
that changes' leaves me breathless... and out of my depth... reaching
for ideas and examples beyond the capacity of anyone to list completely
or to enumerate... let alone describe or understand...
...thinking again of the word temporal i realise that in theology things
temporal are contrasted with things spiritual... whereas in physical
science and algebra temporal is taken to mean a dimension... not in
space (letters xyz) but in time (letter t )...
...and that it may be timely to think of time and thought and even science as
