11 january 2019 work in pieces
work is the thing to mention as it pertains to everything . . . thinking
about industrial work . . . derived in a certain way from rational
analysis . . . which is any process done bit by bit . . .
each bit separately controlled or limited by a rational process . . . it
horrifies me, any such thought which breaks down into pieces, each with
its own aim and purpose . . . is this the basic activity of what is used
to be called work study? . . . the people who do the work study seem to
enjoy it . . . but those who carry out the studied work may be far from
enjoying it . . . because enjoyment seems to come from completion /
continuity / and all such holistic thoughts . . .
