13 may 2019 sorry i am yawning
what can be done today? . . . something enjoyable and something
necessary . . . if possible the two combined . . .
phew!
the first thought is that it or them will not combine . . . perhaps
because everything is dualistic . . . or worse . . . at which a smile
creeps over my face . . .
could it be that everything is dualistic? . .. . unless somebody tries
to unify . . .
there seems to be an assumption that only new things can be singular or
unified . . . but that may be a contradiction . . .
this is bound to be difficult if one insists on unsplittable thoughts .
. . pause for music . . . music comes on . . . i recognize an opera . .
. perhaps all pieces of music are mysterious . . . where unity is
impossible according to some . . .
this sounds quite interesting or perhaps more than quite . . .
i reach for some water . . . water that has been purified by water
engineers who have removed more than a hundred impurities . . .
as usual when faced with such questions i am drawn to make remarks of a
self-referential character for that seems to be the way towards unity of
thought . . . trying to make little examples of what you are talking
about in the writing itself (or should i say speaking?)
to go further than that is to risk unavoidable dualism?
sooner or later we will have to face this difficulty if we are to say
anything more interesting about dualism . . . for instance what is wrong
with it?. . . . perhaps dualism is possibly a joy of life . . . though
to me it is certainly not . . . there must be something about thinking
which draws many people to describe, and to write and to think
dualistically . . . whereas letting the words control the philosophy may
be the more enjoyable way . . . can you think of an enjoyable remark? .
. .
that is the end
