13 january 2022 new links and continuities

i lost the sense of other things . . . . i lost the sense of continuity . . . the sense of beginning with rectifying the names . . . new things to do according to new words describing them . . .

i am thinking all the time of the kind of new practicality of things that are included in the 'planet' or even the 'several planets' which are our context now . . . that they are becoming reachable . . . ever since the first moon landing which must have changed people's mind in what we are and what we are doing on this side of the planet . . . it is as if we are living somewhere else . . .

we are doing different things from what we did in the 20th century . . . trying to do different things now in the 21st and even 22nd . . . these big jumps to what used to be unreachable are surely important to a new world indeed . . . so let's not pretend it is just the same . . . let's sit by our televisions and watch it happening year by year and changeable as it comes and goes . . .

whatever we do now is going to be the early days of something new . . . and the apparent surprise of science fiction and utopia . . . waiting to be changed as our new presence makes new links and continuities often thought but never previously a step for man . . .

these many words are imaginary welcome to abstract realities . . . that we have been inhabiting since the 17th century . . . where we are still . . .
